shopping with Ali and Amy
Had a pretty relaxing weekend shopping on Sat with Amy and Ali - Its really hard to be the non-shopper, surrounded by all those tempting shirts and skirts just screaming at me to buy buy buy! I was good though and didn't get any clothes, though I did have my eye on an amazing silk skirt made of layered frayed silk pieces at Alhambra. Sounds kinda bag-lady-ish but is SO pretty. When I got back to Sean's house, the republic peeps were still recording, so I grabbed Sean and we went to Target (Tar-jhay) at Factoria to get some home organizer stuff. Its been driving me nuts lately how much clutter I have on my bathroom counter. Anyway, there happened to be a Nordstrom Rack there as well, and Sean got THREE, yes THREE, pairs of diesel shoes. Geez, he's almost got as many pairs of shoes as I do now.
Now that its warmer out (and I'm more stressed about work), I feel the need to clean (as in, procrastinate and find all my summer clothes). Amy inspired me to get rid of old stuff w/ her buy 1 get rid of 3 idea. That in addition to the 200 things effort I've started should help me kick some ass on my spring cleaning and help me feel less guilty about shopping for new stuff.
Oh and speaking of shopping, I saw the trailer for Lindsay Lohan's new movie "Mean Girls". And do you know what I saw? One of the girls wearing the Joomi Joolz "Bling Bling" shirt! ARGH! (I dont know why I am so annoyed, I should be happy I didn't spend 100 bucks on a sweatshirt that all 16 year olds will be wearing in a month)
damn, you have a target (pronounced: taar-jhay)...you are SO lucky, i (heart) that store so much! *sigh* its the little things in life *wink wink*
congrats on making it through 3 months of shopping hiatus (now its my turn)...let your mall-games begin again...yipee!
